Benjamin "Ben" Imbrogno

July 8, 2013

Benjamin "Ben" Imbrogno, 21, of 30 River Rd., New York, N.Y., died Saturday morning, July 6, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
He was born October 6, 1991 in St. Vincent's Hospital in New York, N.Y., son of Richard C. and Naomi August Imbrogno.
He resided in New York City all his life. He graduated from New York City Museum School in 2009 and attended Brothers of Manhattan Community College.
He was friendly with everyone. He was born with a compassionate heart. His parents described him as "kindness itself" and called him a gift from God. He loved music, especially Hip-Hop and R&B. His favorite sport was baseball and he wanted to be Derek Jeter. He liked psychology, and the study of human behavior and sexuality. Despite this he was very innocent and young for his age. He had many challenges in life which he handled with humor and grace. He was beloved by all who were fortunate enough to know him. His passing leaves many broken hearts and he will be missed so much.
His last employment was with Publicis, a media advertising agency as a messenger boy.
In addition to his parents, Richard and Naomi Imbrogno at home, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Helen Imbrogno of Johnsonburg; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Bella August and E. Belvin Williams; maternal grandfather, Michael August; and several aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles, and cousins.
