October 23, 2013

ECC keeper Patrick Hoffman comes out to field a shot in the first half while Crusader defenders Ben Herbstritt, Dylan Hodgdon, Matt Jerko, Adam Lovenduski, and Benji Hoffman try to prevent the Rovers from getting to the ball.

BROCKWAY – The Elk County Catholic Crusader soccer team saw their season come to an end on Wednesday evening in a tough match against Brockway in the D9 quarterfinals played under the lights at Frank Varischetti Field.
ECC was the fifth seed in the playoffs while Brockway was seeded fourth. Both teams had to deal with the cold and occasional rain and snow on Wednesday night but the Rovers proved to be too much for Elk to overcome.
