Children left alone in Johnsonburg home

JOHNSONBURG – A Johnsonburg man is charged with endangering welfare of children for allegedly leaving his two children, ages 8 and 6, home alone while he was at work.
On May 5, Johnsonburg police learned through an anonymous phone call that children were left unattended at the home of Michael Lee Wileman, 30, of 407 1/2 First Ave., Johnsonburg. Police arrived at the residence at approximately 3:45 p.m. Two children answered the door after the officer knocked and informed the officer that no one was home with them and that their dad was at work.
