Coudersport boys soccer downs Ridgway
A 4-minute stretch in the second half turned out to be all the Falcons needed. Coudersport scored three times in a 4-minute stretch to break a 1-1 tie en route to a 4-1 win over Ridgway boys soccer Wednesday afternoon at Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary School. "One yellow card changes the complexion of the whole game, period," Ridgway coach Todd Voss said. "We have these mental lapses and it can't happen. We're a better team, we're a much better team than that. They (Coudersport) played well, I can't take that away from them. I don't understand why we can't complete and finish. I just don't get it. We've got a lot of talent and a lot of ability. There's going to be some changes in the lineup and everything else. There's changes we got to do." The Falcons took the lead with 16:59 left in the second half as Troy Schroeder capitalized on a great assist from the right side, burying a perfect pass into the lower left corner of the net for a 2-1 Coudersport lead.
