January 25, 2014

Johnsonburg's Cole Peterson, 12, puts up three of his game high 33 points on this shot from outside the arc in the first half.

The Elk County Catholic Crusaders pulled off a big 67-66 victory over the Johnsonburg Rams on Friday night in a contest played in front of a packed house at the ECCHS gymnasium.
Both teams battled hard from start to finish, and fans of both teams helped create an exciting atmosphere throughout the contest.
"The fan support was outstanding," said ECC head coach Aaron Straub. "They were as good as they get from start to finish. It was a fun atmosphere all the way around."
