Crusaders football falls to Kane

October 6, 2013

Crusader kicker Ryan Seelye, 3, sends a PAT attempt past several hard charging Kane defenders in the fourth quarter of Saturday's game. Seelye's kick was good, setting up the final score of 35-7 in favor of the Wolves.

The Elk County Catholic Crusader football team had their homecoming game on Saturday afternoon at Dutch Country Stadium, losing 35-7 to the Kane Wolves to fall to 0-6 on the season.
"We had some things going there. We made some mistakes," said ECC head coach Tony Gerg. "I wish we could have had a better showing for homecoming."
The Wolves scored 14 in the first quarter and 21 in the second to lead 35-0 at halftime. The Crusaders' lone touchdown came midway through the fourth quarter.
