Damage assessment continues Friday

Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency [PEMA] officials continued to work hand-in-hand with area residents and emergency officials Friday to assess the damage from Wednesday's flooding that ravaged Elk County, particularly Ridgway where floodwaters reached six feet in some areas.
Congressman Glenn 'GT' Thompson (PA-5) attended an emergency briefing early Friday morning with emergency responders and government officials in Ridgway Borough's emergency operations center.
