Donna Mae Feronti, 76, of 21 Penn Ave., Ridgway, died Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014 at Penn Highlands Elk.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, she was born Aug. 15, 1937 in St. Marys, daughter of the late John M. and Lottie M. Kassawara Kronenwetter.
On Jan. 14, 1961, she married Noel E. Feronti, he survives. She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church. She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, Class of 1956. Mae enjoyed traveling, cooking, knitting, crocheting, gardening and raising flowers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is survived by four children, Kathy Harris (Brad) of Erie, Reyne Hartzfeld (Brian) of Erie, John Feronti (Sue) of Ridgway, and Joel E. Feronti (Donna) of Ridgway; 10 grandchildren, Adam, Andrew and David Harris, Meagan, Jacob, and Maddie Hartzfeld, Brittany and Chelsea Feronti, and Seth and Logan Feronti; and by a brother, Ron Kronenwetter (Dona) of South Windsor, Conn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Adkins; and by a brother, Claude Kronenwetter.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Donna Mae Feronti will be celebrated at St. Leo's Catholic Church on Monday, Aug. 11 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. John Barwin and Fr. Brian Vossler. Interment will be in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Johnsonburg. Friends will be received at the Meehan-Shilk Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug. 10 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Community Nurses, 763 Johnsonburg Rd., St. Marys, Pa. 15857.
