"I think he's in a good position for Saturday," Johnsonburg coach Matt Myers said. "He's excited. He got a good pairing. I'm confident he can play well and hopefully advance to the regional."
Grumley made it to regionals last year and Myers said Grumley is comfortable with this type of pressure golf.
"I know he got the chance to play Bavarian a lot during the summer and I know he's comfortable here," Myers said. "Last year, making it to the regional, he's been in that position where he's got the pressure on him, I think that can only help him."
