ELoop, the recently-chosen group which collects electronic recyclables from the community recycling center, has informed the Elk County Solid Waste Authority that items previously picked up free of charge will now carry a fee of 6 cents per pound to be collected.
"Because of the market, because of the stockpiling, because of the difficulty of getting materials moved, eLoop is going to start charging us this for all the items that are not covered under the electronics recycling law," Titchner said.
