Elk County Historical Society celebrates 50 years

On Friday evening, the Elk County Historical Society celebrated 50 years in existence with a dinner at The Royal Inn. Elk County residents joined together to look back on the past 50 years of the society and the many strides the society has taken since its inception in 1964.
Historical Society executive director Mary Kalinowski, who has been with the organization for seven years, offered some of the history of the society as well as her thanks for the support from the county.
