CLARION – Turnovers and missed opportunities would hurt Ridgway boys basketball as the Elkers lost 58-43 to North Catholic in the second round of the boys PIAA Class A playoffs Tuesday night at Tippin Gym on the campus of Clarion University.
Ridgway trailed 28-22 at halftime after an 11-2 deficit to open the game. Ridgway took their first and only lead of the game at 31-30 after Ben MacDonald finished up a 3-point play near the five-minute mark of the third quarter. Ridgway outscored North Catholic 9-2 in the opening three minutes after halftime.
