Elkers win at Kane

January 12, 2013

The Elkers' Jesse Reynolds looks over the court from the corner, while teammate Josh Mitchell awaits a pass inside during Friday's game against the Wolves. Ridgway outscored the Wolves 16-5 in the second quarter and never looked back on their way to a 62-35 win in the Wolves' Den.

KANE – The Kane Wolves played with the Ridgway Elkers for a quarter but the Elkers outscored the Wolves 16-5 in the second quarter and cruised to the 62-35 victory in the Wolves’ Den on Friday night.
Both teams had trouble getting the ball in the hoop early in the game. Ridgway’s leading scorer, Jesse Reynolds, had the first basket at the two-minute mark when he sliced through the lane for two. Kevin Cleer knocked down a three for the Wolves that gave the home team a 6-4 lead, which ended up being the last lead they had in the game.
