Gerg gets first win as Crusaders shut out Falcons

August 30, 2014

Crusader Josh "Fluffy" Zelinski, 65, returns an interception to Coudersport's 21-yard line in the middle of the third quarter of Friday evening's game while facing pressure from a trio of Falcons' players.

COUDERSPORT – Despite the best efforts of the Crusader football team, there was one objective they were unable to accomplish on Friday night: successfully dumping a bucket of ice on head coach Tony Gerg in celebration of his first coaching victory. Everything else seemed to go the team's way though as they romped to a 32-0 shutout over the Coudersport Falcons in a contest played under the lights at C.A.R.P. Park in Coudersport.
