Inaugural KECA Pa. Elk Tag Raffle raises over $150,000

BENEZETTE – Just over a month ago, Governor Tom Corbett signed House Bill 2169 into law. The bill, in part, created a special conservation license that could be chanced off annually to raise funds to benefit conservation and education efforts in Pennsylvania's Elk Country. Working together, in a span of roughly four weeks the Keystone Elk Country Alliance (KECA) and Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC) were able to raise over $150,000 selling tickets for the first ever Pa. Elk Tag Raffle.
