James A. Glatt

James A. Glatt, 57, of Little Ave., Ridgway, died early Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, 2014 at home after a lengthy illness.
He was born July 24, 1957 in St. Marys, son of Andrew G. and Rosalie Mae (Dorio) Glatt.
He married Shirley (Fink) on Nov. 9, 2001, she survives.
He was a 1976 graduate of St. Marys High School and a 2008 graduate of DuBois Business College. He worked at Keystone Powdered Metal for 30 years, Intech Stainless of Ridgway for three years and owner of "Computer Guru" for 18 years. He was Catholic by faith and enjoyed entertaining as co-owner of "Nuttin Fancy" DJ/Karaoke. He lived most of his life in St. Marys and the past four years in Ridgway.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son, Benjamin Glatt of Brooklyn, N.Y., three stepsons, nine stepgrandchildren, three brothers, Michael (Karen) Glatt of West Virginia, Ralph Glatt of DuBois and Paul (Sharon) Glatt of Kersey; three sisters, Barbara Jean (Ken) Sickeri of St. Marys, Ruth Ann (Michael) Herzing of Harrisburg and Rita (Todd) Bille of St. Marys and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for James A. Glatt will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield with Father William Sutherland officiating. Interment is in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
There will be no visitation. The family will be receiving friends on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield.
