Johnsonburg softball falls to Curwensville

Kassa Kocjancic was 3 for 3 for the Ramettes during action against Curwensville

JOHNSONBURG – Johnsonburg softball lost 12-1 in five innings to Curwensville Monday afternoon at Knothole Area Recreational Park.
After a scoreless first inning, the Lady Tide would take control of the game with a 7-run second inning. Abby Johnson led off the game with a single. Alaina Stiles, Nikki Harker and Tierra Shope all walked, Shope's walked came with the bases loaded to score Johnson for a 1-0 lead.
After a fielder's choice, Sarah Wriglesworth walked with the bases still loaded to score Harker for a 2-0 Lady Tide lead. After a strikeout, Cheyenne Pentz walked to score courtesy runner Riley Young for a 3-0 lead.
