JOHNSONBURG – With a 2-7 season in the rear view mirror and the Johnsonburg varsity football program in serious jeopardy due to lack of player turnout and graduation, the current coaching staff paused Sunday for a season-ending banquet and paid tribute to the team's playmakers.
"Our seniors worked extremely hard in the summer and they were the heart and soul of this program," said Johnsonburg varsity football coach Jesse Schreiber. "They really wanted it and I was glad to be able to coach them."
