Lisa M. Maholtz, 51, of Early Avenue, Ridgway, died Monday, Nov. 1, 2011 at home after a short illness.
She was born June 16, 1960 in Ridgway, the daughter of Kenneth and Elsie (DeLong) Maholtz, who survive.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Chasitie Edmisten of Ridgway; a granddaughter, Nevaeh Edmisten; and a sister, Helen Maholtz-Turner of North Carolina.
She was predeceased by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy and Orpha DeLong and Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Amy Maholtz.            
She was raised in Johnsonburg and lived all of her life in Elk County. She was a 1978 graduate of St. Marys Area High School and worked at Metal Powder Products of St. Marys for 29 years.
She was a member of Johnsonburg United Methodist Church, president of the Ridgway American Legion Unit 208 Auxiliary and an active member of the Ridgway Honor Guard.
Funeral services for Lisa M. Maholtz will be announced at a later date. There will be no visitation.
The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.
