Mary S. Frantz

Mary S. Frantz, age 58, formerly of 203 West Main St. Ridgway died Friday morning at Pinecrest Manor in St. Marys following a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 9, 1951 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Elmer D. and Mary H. (Josephson) Knipple. She had resided in Ridgway for the last 26 years and was a member of the Ridgway Church of the Nazarene. She had been employed by the Ridgmont Assisted Living Facility for six years.
She is survived by one son, Ralph M. Timblin of Johnstown, two brothers; Ronald Knipple and his wife Carol of Johnstown, Dennis Knipple of Johnstown, two sisters; Roseann Reighard of Johnstown and Thelma Selseth of Calif., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Lillian Kresic, and a special friend William Kline.
A memorial service for Mary S. Frantz will be held at the Abundant Life Christian Fellowship Tuesday at 11 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Peter McCurdy.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation.
Memorials if desired can be made to the Ridgmont Assisted Living Facility's Activities Fund.
Funeral arrangements are under the Direction of Thompson Funeral Home.
