Melanie Angel, 40, of PIttsburgh, formerly of Warren, died Monday, March 25, 2013 following a brief illness.
Melanie was the wife of Robert A. Martire; daughter of Lou Dussia of Warren and Mary Alice Lutz Maines and her husband Stanley of Seward; daughter-in-law of Robert and Linda Martire; sister of Mark [Tammy] Dussia of Warren; sister-in-law of Gregory [Susan] Martire; niece of Ralph, John, Pete, Jerome and Steven Dussia, all of Ridgway; aunt of Tanner and Taylor Rosenberg, and Mara Dussia, all of Warren; great-niece of Adeline Rees and Zita Verne of Ridgway; granddaughter of the later Robert and Alice Lutz, and John W. and Mary Margaret Dussia, all of Ridgway; she is also survived by many cousins.
Melanie graduated from Warren High School and Penn State University (Behrend) with a bachelor's degree in accounting and worked as an accountant for Fiserv, Financial Institutional Services and as a business analyst at Direct Energy and Strategic Energy, all in Pittsburgh. She was currently working as a senior business analyst for Highmark Health Insurance in Pittsburgh.
Friends will be received on Thursday, March 28, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Griffith Mortuary, Inc., 5636, Brownsville Rd., Broughton-Curry-South Park Township where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m.
