Mental health first aid courses offered

March 14, 2013

Photo submitted – Joanne Cook and Lisa Brocious, certified instructors for Mental Health First Aid USA (MHFA), are offering this certification program to residents in a nine-county area who would like to learn more about helping people who are experiencing a mental health emergency.

A certification program that will be offered to area residents called "Mental Health First Aid USA" can help people who deal with mental health issues as part of their profession or those who just want to know more about how to help someone experiencing this type of emergency.
