Paul Samuel Thomas

Paul Samuel Thomas, age 85, a resident at Parkside Elder Care in Brockway, died Feb. 28, 2011, at DuBois Nursing Home.
He was born March 15, 1925, in Ridgway, son of Samuel P. and Twila Stewart Thomas
A protestant by faith, Paul enjoyed woodworking and tinkering with cars. He was a licensed electrician and inspector; a certified carpenter; a supervisor for Boni Candy Company servicing out of Brockport. His family was the owners of the Dodge and Plymouth Garages in DuBois and Ridgway. He also performed towing services for the surrounding areas.
He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during WWII.
After his retirement he moved to Clearfield, then made his home in Brockway.
He is survived by one sister, Viola Leathers of Blairsville; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
There will be no viewing or funeral services.
Place of burial will be Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.
