JOHNSONBURG – With a 10-3 record at the midpoint of the regular season, the Johnsonburg Ramettes continued their upward climb Tuesday night with a 51-25 win over visiting Brockway.
The Ramettes had four players in double figures as senior Rhianon Fowler paced all scorers with 12 points; she was complemented by juniors Chelsea Benson and Kassa Kocjancic, who both tallied 11 points apiece, and fellow senior Brittany Watts, who chipped in 10 points on the night.
"That's the beauty of this team that we have this year," said Johnsonburg head girls varsity basketball coach Mike Zilkofski. "They're unselfish, there isn't a go-to girl-- we have five girls who can score from anywhere on the court. That's a good commodity for me and the defenses can't take just one girl out."
