Johnsonburg senior Chelsea Benson dribbles to the bucket as Devin Stessney of Bishop Guilfoyle defends for the Lady Marauders during the PIAA playoffs at Altoona High School Saturday.

ALTOONA – Johnsonburg girls basketball lost 47-26 to Bishop Guilfoyle in the first round of the PIAA Class A girls basketball playoffs held Saturday at Altoona High School.
Coming into the game, the Ramettes knew they would have a challenge coming in against the Lady Marauders (25-2), the District 6 champion.
"To play that tough with a No. 1 seed, I told my girls 'I've never been so proud of you,'" Johnsonburg coach Mike Zilkofski said. "You hung in with them all game. I told them I was proud of the season they had and what they accomplished and to not hang their heads low."
