Rams advance over Shade

March 13, 2013

Cole Peterson finished with 26 points for Johnsonburg as the Rams down Shade in the second round of the PIAA Class A playoffs.

WINGATE – A Kyle Sheldon 3-point play helped the Rams get by Smethport in the district semifinals.
The front end of a Sheldon 3-point play Tuesday night has the Rams set for a rematch.
Johnsonburg would take the lead on Sheldon's hoop and hang on for a 54-49 win over District 5 champion Shade Tuesday night in the second round of the PIAA Class A boys basketball playoffs held at Bald Eagle Area High School.
"We were lucky to come out of here with a win. Like I said, it could have went either way," Johnsonburg coach Bill Shuey said.
