JOHNSONBURG – Talk about scoring points in bunches.
On a night where everything seemed to be going in, the Johnsonburg Rams (8-1) stretched their winning streak to four games with an 80-54 win Friday over the visiting Kane Wolves (3-6).
Kane's Kevin Cleer led all scorers with 20 points, thanks largely to a nine-point fourth quarter, but the night belonged to a quartet of Rams who crossed over into double figures.
Juniors Cameron Grumley and Cole Peterson paced the team with 18 and 12 points, respectively, while senior Mitchell Holmberg chipped in 10 points. The surprise of the night, however, was senior Kenny Imbrogno, who came off the bench to score 11 points, including three consecutive three-pointers in just over one minute.
