Rams down Ridgway in five innings

April 16, 2013

Quinn Luhr fires a pitch for Johnsonburg during action Tuesday in Ridgway.

Johnsonburg baseball moved to 3-0 on the season with an 11-0 win in five innings over Ridgway Tuesday afternoon at Sandy Beach Recreational Park.
"It was nice having that kind of a win," Johnsonburg coach Jeff Peterson said. "They're young, you can tell they're trying out some new pitching and working through it. Some games you pick and choose when you're going to do that. They got a big one against (ECC) coming and I'm sure they're getting ready for it. I'm sure they want to go after them and play them tough. Josh will be ready then. When they throw Josh (Mitchell), they're going to be tough to beat no matter what. He's going to keep them in it."
