Cole Peterson had 11 strikeouts in a 10-3 win for Johnsonburg over Kane Wednesday afternoon.

JOHNSONBURG – Johnsonburg rebounded from an opening loss to Smethport with a 10-3 win over Kane Wednesday afternoon at Knothole Area Recreational Park.
"A little more life [yesterday]," Johnsonburg coach Jeff Peterson said. "I think the younger kids, I think they were really nervous [Tuesday], not that they weren't [yesterday]. It's a work in progress. Cole threw real well. We had a couple errors, I don't think they had an earned run again."
Cole Peterson starred on the mound for the Rams as he tossed the first five innings. He allowed three hits and one unearned run. He walked one and struck out 11. Peterson was also 1 for 1 with a walk and reached base twice when he was hit by a pitch.
