Ridgway Elkers defeat Kane, 42-24

January 30, 2014

Jeremy Breier drives the ball past Kane's Kevin Cleer during the second half of Wednesday night's game in the Wolves' Den. Breier scored eight of his 12 points in the third quarter as the Elkers outscored the Wolves 21-10. Kane led 9-8 going into the locker room, but fell to the Elkers 42-24.

The visiting Ridgway Elkers trailed the Kane Wolves boys’ basketball team 9-8 going into the locker room at halftime. Whatever the Elker coaching staff said during the break must have sunk in, because Ridgway came out and outscored the home team 21-10 during the next eight minutes on their way to posting a 42-24 win in the Wolves’ Den on Wednesday night.
