Ridgway gymnastics will feature a young team this season with only one senior on the roster.
Ridgway graduated five seniors from last year’s team and move up seven freshmen to the varsity team.
“It’s a little different this year graduating as many seniors as we had last year. We’re extremely young. We’re sporting only one senior, Emily Pierce,” Ridgway coach Edna Maddalena said. “She’s a returning state qualifier so that helps but she’s our only senior. I have seven freshman that are new to gymnastics so that puts us at a very young stage but that’s OK, they’re learning quick.”
