Ridgway gymnastics hosts Bellefonte

Ridgway gymnastics hosted Bellefonte in a meet held Wednesday night at Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary School.
Bellefonte topped Ridgway in the team score. Bellefonte scored 109.975 team points while Ridgway had 97.95 team points.
"You know when they're getting better when they're not happy with their score because they want more," Ridgway coach Edna Maddalena said. "That's always a positive for a coach."
In the vault, Grace Young of Bellefonte won the event with a score of 8.55. Teammate Olivia Williams was second at 8.4. Paige Grazioli of Ridgway was in third place with a score of 8.05 and Emily Spiers was fourth for Ridgway with a score of 7.7. Jenna Hoffman and Emily Pierce were tied for fifth along with Corryn Deibler of Bellefonte with a score of 7.6. Alanna Schiafone of ridgway took eights with a score of 7.45.
