Ridgway overcomes early deficit to advance

CLARION – The Ridgway Elkers overcame early foul trouble and a halftime deficit to drop Homer Center by a 63-39 score Friday night at Tippin Gymnasium on the Clarion University campus in the first round of the Class A state playoffs.
The Elkers were led by Sam Roselli, a strong force inside with nine field goals for 18 points, and standout senior Jesse Reynolds, who turned in 12 points for Ridgway.
