Ridgway welcomes 14th Rendezvous

Photo by Larry Simon – Tom and Dawna Ceriani are a husband-wife team and are known as the "Sweetheart Carvers." They run T&D Carvings out of Brockport and have a website at www.tanddcarvings.net where you can find information and pictures of their creations. They participate in shows, do competitions, and are available for commission works. Dawna has competed in speed carving competitions doing an amazing 16 1-foot bears in one hour.

On Monday, carvers will be at seminars at the American Legion from 9 a.m. until noon before carving at all locations (South Broad, Center and Court Streets; County Squirrel Outfitters; Keystone True Value; former Ridgway Record building parking lot) until 5 p.m. Monday's seminar will feature a special welcome from co-founders Rick and Liz Boni, followed by a presentation from Don Handley regarding physical issues arising from occupational carving. Coffee will be served at 8:30 a.m. before the seminars begin.
On Tuesday, Scott Dow will present a seminar regarding "flow and movement in sculpture" at the American Legion from 9 a.m. until noon before carving at all locations (South Broad, Center and Court Streets; County Squirrel Outfitters; Keystone True Value; former Ridgway Record building parking lot) until 5 p.m.
