Ridgway's annual homes tour approaching

Photo submitted – This house along Center Street will be a part of Ridgway's annual historic homes tour scheduled for Aug. 3. This mansion was built in 1892 and listed in 1894 as one of the top 10 architectural wonders of Pennsylvania.

Ridgway's annual historic homes tour is back after a several year hiatus and is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 3. This year's tour, titled "Ivy and Elegance," will also feature several gardens along with five homes throughout Ridgway Borough.
The event is sponsored by the Ridgway Heritage Council with proceeds from the tour going to benefit the Main Street Beautification Program.
"Ivy and Elegance" tours will begin at 12 p.m. with groups departing every 15 minutes until 2 p.m.
