Robert A. Frey

Robert A. Frey, 86, of 9596 Route 219, Brockport, and a former Kersey resident, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2014 at Penn Highlands Elk.
He was born Oct. 16, 1927 in St. Marys, son of the late Leo and Veronica Smithbauer Frey.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Kersey schools. He retired from Airco Speer in 1989 after 45 years of service.
Mr. Frey was a member of the St. Boniface Church, an avid hunter and fisherman and loved bowling, woodworking and airplanes.
He is survived by his companion Genevieve Salvadori of Brockport, a daughter, Mary Ann Harlan (Larry) of Kersey, three grandchildren, three great grandchildren, three sisters, Florence Secco (Romey) of Kersey, Alice Wickett of Holland, N.Y., Dorothy Meyer of St. Marys, a brother Richard Frey (Pat) of Kersey. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys Gillen, and by a brother James Frey.
Funeral services for Robert A. Frey will be held in the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday, Sept. 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fr. Ross Miceli officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Boniface Cemetery. Visitiation is at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m.
