Rose Marie Szymanski

Rose Marie Szymanski, 73, of Jarrett Street, Wilcox died Monday, Sept. 1, 2014 at home after a lengthy illness.
She was born Oct. 1, 1940 in Glen Hazel, daughter of the late Andrew & Helen (Bodistow) Zimmerman. On May 16, 1964, she married Walter F. Szymanski, who preceded her death on June 11, 2003.
Born and raised in Glen Hazel, Rose lived in Wilcox since 1965. She was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School, class of 1959. She was member of St. Anne Catholic Church, St. Anne Bible Study and the Wilcox Homemakers Association. She worked as a homemaker janitor for the Jones Township Municipal Center.
She is survived by two children, Walter J. (Susan) Szymanski of North Brunswick, N.J. and Mary Jane (Frank) Hoffman of St. Marys; three brothers, Tom Zimmerman of Wilcox, Andrew Zimmerman of Wilcox and Fred Kanski of Clearfield; and four sisters, Mary Ann Steudler of Wilcox, Erla Lecker of Wilcox, Donna Hickman of Wilcox and Barbara Erickson of Eighty Four.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rose Marie Szymanski will be be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5 at the St. Anne Catholic Church with Father David Wilson officiating.
There will be no open visitation.
The family will be receiving friends from 9-10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5 at the St. Anne Catholic Church in Wilcox.
Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Rasselas. 
The family suggests memorials to the Wilcox Public Library.
