The St. Leo’s Festival was again blessed with great weather and the same could be said about the crowd. Kids were enjoying the bounce houses and slides, playing mini-golf and taking a train tour around the grounds.
There also were food vendors, games, and a place to buy trinket mementos for all ages along with a tribute to “Elvis” by Bobby Calla with music backup by The Hammer.
The adults got to see a great seventh annual car show with 54 vehicles present. Cash prizes were awarded with a trophy given in memory of Ernest T. Oldani, a lifelong resident of this area who had won more than 320 first-place awards along with dozens of gold class and best in show prizes with his Classic 1980 Monte Carlo. Ernest died in August 2011.
