St. Marys to get Civil Air Patrol squadron

Photo by Becky Polaski – A Cessna 182 used by the Civil Air Patrol for air search and rescue missions was at the St. Marys Municipal Airport for the American Spirit Aviation Festival on Saturday.

ST. MARYS – Attendees at the American Spirit Aviation Festival at the St. Marys Municipal Airport on Saturday likely saw Civil Air Patrol members from both the Clarion and Warren squadrons assisting with the operation of the event and also manning an information booth to spread the word about the organization as St. Marys will soon be getting its own Civil Air Patrol squadron.
