Two big innings doom Ramettes in 15-4 loss

Johnsonburg starting pitcher Raimi Akers fires a pitch Friday afternoon against visiting Bradford at Knothole Recreational Park. The visitors won the game 15-4 in six innings over the Ramettes.

JOHNSONBURG – Visiting Bradford sent 12 batters to the plate in the first inning and another nine in the sixth inning to produce 11 of their 15 runs Friday in a six-inning victory over Johnsonburg.
The Lady Owls took advantage of 13 walks and four errors in the 15-4 victory.
Bradford put six runs on the board in the first inning to take the early lead. Lindsay Rinfrette was 2 for 3 on the day with five RBI and two runs scored. She got things rolling with a two-run single to plate Ashley Stoltz and starting pitcher Rylee Lindgren for the early 2-0 lead.
Payton Llewellyn followed with a run-scoring single to bring in Lexy Pascarella. The Lady Owls later worked three straight walks with the bases loaded as Rinfrette, Llewellyn and Ashlyn Kelly all scored for a 6-0 lead.
