Wilcox Legion falls to Bradford in playoffs

July 10, 2014

Neil MacDonald had a pair of hits for Wilcox during playoff action Thursday evening against Bradford.

WILCOX – After Wilcox's opening playoff win Wednesday night, Wilcox coach Frank Ferragine said he knew the team needed to be more consistent with hitting and making the most of good opportunities.
Once again, neither happened for Wilcox and this time it led to a defeat.
Wilcox stranded eight runners on base over the first six innings and couldn't overcome timely hitting from Bradford as the Bradford Legion team won 8-2 over Wilcox Thursday evening at Jones Township Community Park.
