William T. (Bill) Cherry

William T. (Bill) Cherry, 49, of 217 Powers Ave., Johnsonburg, died Monday Aug, 4, 2014 at his residence.
He was born June 2, 1965, in Ridgway, son of John (Skip) Cherry and Carol Pennington Bryndel.
Bill resided in Johnsonburg all of his life. He graduated from Johnsonburg Area High School in 1982.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Church and The Piedmont Club. He loved animals and being with his family.
In addition to his parents, John (Skip) Cherry and wife Doreen of Ridgway, and his mother, Carol Pennington Bryndel of Ridgway, Bill was survived by four sisters and one brother; Beth Amacher and husband George of Ridgway, Karolee Crotzer and partner Vinnie Gnan of Johnsonburg, Kim Beck and husband Bill of St. Marys, Vanessa Cherry of Ridgway, and Jim Cherry of Wilcox.
He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved him dearly.
Bill was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jim and Rose Cherry, and Percy and Pearl Pennington.
Funeral services for William T. (Bill) Cherry will be held Thursday, Aug. 7 at 4 p.m. at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, Inc.
Officiating will be Reverend Brian Vossler of St. Leo Magnus Catholic Church in Ridgway.
Interment will be at the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Johnsonburg.
Friends will be received at the Anthony F. Ferragine Funeral Home, 401 Chestnut St., in Johnsonburg on Thursday from 2-4 p.m.
