Jacob today, but during his appearance, he waived his right to have the preliminary hearing. Cheatle will now proceed to the court of common pleas to have his case heard before President Judge Richard A. Masson.In addition to waiving his preliminary hearing, Cheatle had his bail reduced from $15,000 monetary to $15,000 unsecured. Since the date of the incident, Cheatle has been confined in the Elk County Prison, but with the bail reduction, he will be released on bail to await future court appearances.
