Lady Crusaders win weather-shortened game 10-2

With inclement weather threatening, the Elk County Catholic and Johnsonburg softball teams were able to complete just enough of their game Monday afternoon to make it count.
The contest was originally scheduled to be a home game for the Ramettes, but the weather resulted in it being moved to Benzinger Park and changed to a home game for ECC. The Lady Crusaders ended up winning the weather-shortened contest 10-2 in five innings.

JOHNSONBURG – One big inning was enough for Johnsonburg baseball to remain at zero losses for the season.
A six-run third inning helped the Johnsonburg Rams to a 7-2 win over Eisenhower Saturday at Knothole Park on a sunny day.

The Johnsonburg track and field teams competed at the Kane Invitational Saturday afternoon at Kane High School.
The Johnsonburg girls finished third in the team scoring with 49 points. ECC was the team champion with 123.5 points, Bradford was second at 72 points. Eisenhower and St. Marys tied for fourth at 45 points.

Johnsonburg softball shuts out Brookville in three innings

JOHNSONBURG – It's not every day a softball team can score 16 runs in one inning but that's exactly what Johnsonburg softball did Thursday afternoon.
Johnsonburg scored 16 runs in the second inning and sent 20 hitters to the plate which would be enough to take a 16-0 win over Brookville at Knothole Park in Johnsonburg.
