Ridgway boys soccer defeated an undermanned Kane Wolves team 6-0 Tuesday afternoon at Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary School.
Kane had only 10 available players for the game and did not have a shot on goal until the second half.
The Kane Lady Wolves took on the Ridgway Lady Elkers on Monday afternoon in the Kane girls first home soccer game of the season. The Lady Elkers jumped out to a 4-0 lead at the half and cruised to a 5-1 win on a warm, sunny afternoon.
The Lady Dutch defeated the Ridgway Lady Elkers in the championship match by a 2-1 score. In the consolation match, the Johnsonburg Ramettes defeated the Elk County Catholic Lady Crusaders by a 30-28 score.
Behind two straight shutouts from Elk County Catholic goalkeeper Patrick Hoffman, the Crusaders picked up a 2-0 win over Ridgway in Saturday’s championship game of the Elk County Soccer Tournament.
