Annual fire department carnival planned July 23-28

The Ridgway Fire Department will be hosting its annual carnival during the week of July 23 through 28, beginning at 6 p.m. each night.
There will be no rides available on Monday, July 23, though area residents are invited to come out and join the fun. The fire department will be hosting various activities, including nightly drawings for up to $100, as well as food stands and a performance by the Moore Brothers from 6-10 p.m.
On Saturday night, there will be an end of the week prize giveaway which will consist of $10,000, as well as 53 other items thanks to donations from the community.
Carnival rides, provided by Power and Thomas Midway Entertainment, will be up and running on Tuesday, July 24, at 6 p.m., following the crowd favorite pet parade. Rides will be available for the rest of the week.
Nightly drawings for cash prizes will be held from 7-10 p.m. throughout the week.
