Is another Snow Day in the works? RASD is prepared.

In a year like no other, the Seniors of RASD (shown here on opening day in September) might be facing another Snow Day on Thursday. Because the School District was recently able to achieve a One to One ratio of computers/tablets to students, the district was easily able to transition to remote learning on Tuesday when the first Snow Day was called this week. With the possibility of another 8 inches of snow, according to Accu-Weather, the schools distributed devices to all students that required them during in-person instruction on Wednesday. If school is closed for in-person instruction, RASD will have a virtual learning day. Students should log onto Schoology. This day will not be made up. If it is a two-hour delay, there will be no virtual instruction and the school will resume with RMHS students reporting at 9:30 a.m. and FSG students report at 10 a.m. Students should always return the devices they received on the next in-person instructional day.
