The First Annual Elk County Mountain Man Fest will take place this Jan. 18, 19 and 20 in Ridgway and online applications are available for vendors.
Head over to the Chamber's homepage at www.ridgwaychamber.com and go to the events page. Simply click on the link with this logo and print out the form. Turn them in at the Ridgway Chamber of Commerce or mail them to The Elk County Wilds Mountain Man Fest at 300 Main St. Ridgway, PA 15853.
The Mountain Man Fest will take place in the old Motion Control building. The Fest offers fun for all ages with sleigh rides, snowball fights, snowperson contests, bands will play throughout the weekend, karaoke contests and much more. Artisans and chainsaw carvers will join wineries, distilleries and craft brewers inside the building while a huge bonfire will light the way to the festival.
The enchanting "old fashioned main street store front" being constructed now by volunteers brings a uniquely downtown Ridgway feeling to the giant Motion Control Building.
The Organizers wish to thank all that have donated time, money equipment and basic supplies to the event, Vendor stalls are being marked off and arranged based on needed space for products or services.
Most of the activity will occur indoors at the Motion Control Building so don't be intimidated by the weather or the chill. The Ridgway Record will bring more "Behind the Scenes" photos as the event gets closer, so remember to mark you calendar for January 18-20 and the Mountain Man Festival.
