The Ridgway YMCA in coordination with the Ridgway Fire Department hosted the annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Central Fire Station in Ridgway. The young and the young-at-heart were treated to a breakfast of pancakes, eggs, sausage, and homemade cookies, all plated and served by volunteers. Hundreds of local and area residents turned out for the event which featured gifts and games, along with the tasty breakfast.
After having a nice breakfast at Firehall, Santa's next stop was Lucy's Coffee, Tea and Gifts. Lunch was served with coffee/tea and an assortment of goodies served on traditional English three-tier tray stands. Santa stopped by from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to visit with all the kids and he also had a bag and special gift for each of them.
