Commissioners hold extended meeting with visitor presentations and Salary Board

The Elk County Commissioners met in regular session on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 10 a.m. in Conference Room No. 2 at the Courthouse Annex in Ridgway. Present at the meeting were all three Commissioners, Dan Freeburg, Janis Kemmer, and Matt Quesenberry, Chief Clerk Lee Neureiter, Deputy Chief Clerk Samantha Beaver, Solicitor Tom Wagner, CDBG Coordinator Tracy Gerber, Treasurer Peggy B. Schneider, Recycling/Solid Waste Coordinator Bekki Titchner, Penn State Extension staff, Johnsonburg Borough Council President Alfred J. Maletto, ECCOTA Management, and Dickinson Center staff.
The minutes of previous meetings and the agenda were quickly approved by the commissioners.
Robert Dickinson of the Penn State Extension gave an update on projects the agency has been working on through the year so far, and plans for next year. The agency is looking for local board members who wish to assist them in their educational mission to the area and anyone interested in asked to apply.
